In 2025, when the government shutdown caused many families to lose their SNAP food benefits, we knew our neighbors would need support more than ever. Feed the People Philly, Inc. launched our very first Pop-Up Food Giveaway Site, in West Philadelphia.

Boys’ Latin of Philadelphia Middle School, it's staff and volunteers was the first to open their doors and partner with us to make it happen. Together, we served families with fresh produce, bread, and other nonperishable foods and most importantly, hope.
